Intern Program 2023
Citi-HKCSS Community Intern Program (CIP) 2023 aims at
inspiring local university students to contribute their knowledge and expertise
to non-profit organizations through
internship. The ultimate goal is to enhance their awareness on Corporate Social Responsibility so as to equip these future leaders with a broadened understanding of the
community.
The program has nurtured 925 interns and served more than 250 non-profit
organizations since it launched.
This year marks the 13th year of the program and more university
faculties would be engaged. Your
participation is important to the success of the program.

80 full-time Year 1 to 3 undergraduates majoring in multiple disciplines
including business and marketing, communications and journalism, visual studies
and design, and social impact assessment from the universities in Hong Kong. 2 interns
will be placed in each organization.

Subsidy to NGOs
|
:
|
HK$3,000 for each organization (providing 2
internship positions), payment will be arranged by HKCSS at the end of the
program.
|
Student Allowance
|
:
|
HK$6,000 for each intern
|
Interns are recommended to
assist NGOs in the following areas
-
Network Building: assist in liaison work of volunteers, event and community activities organizing as well as database management that helps to strengthen partnership between NGO and other sectors; or
-
Brand Building: promote and extend publicity of the NGO (e.g. production of promotional materials, video production, social media management and liaison work etc.), that enhance public awareness of the organization in the community; or
-
Event Planning: assist to organize or participate in online or physical activities, draft event proposals, maintain and expand donor database; or
-
Support daily business routine including operation, social service, information system management and accounting consolidation, etc.
*Priority will be given to NGOs which could provide learning opportunity related to the interns' business knowledge and relevant skills

Training for NGOs in Response to New Normal” to learn more about communication
and management skills in the post-epidemic era and the characteristics of the
new generation(interns). The webinar will be followed by Briefing Session of
CIP 2023.
